What is self-esteem? How important is it and where does it come from? Can you get it if you don’t have it? Can you bounce back or better yet not be impacted when failures happen or others put you down? Does self-esteem really determine your happiness level?
I’ve pondered these questions off and on for years yet it wasn’t until I met Patricia Noll that I learned of a different kind of self-esteem that drives more people that the traditional form of self-esteem. This other form of self-esteem can be more destructive than any other and more difficult to recognize.
